I am emailing a link of this to everyone on the class list every week. If you are not receiving these emails or want to have them sent to another email address feel free to email me at jpmccarthymaths@gmail.com and I will add you to the mailing list.

The manuals are available in the Copy Centre and must be purchased immediately. They are prices at €7.50. You also need to purchase graph paper.

If you have missed Excel labs (we have an Excel lab in odd-numbered weeks), you should get the lab off me in the lecture and do it on your own. There is a 15% Excel Test in Week 12.

Week 3

We had a fully-blown Excel lab. We will also learnt how to find mode — both graphically (using a histogram) and with a formula — of a frequency distribution. We will learn how to find the standard deviation, the Interquartile Range (graphically and with a formula), the coefficient of variation and the skewness.

We did one full exam question.

Week 4 and Beyond

We will then do three more full exam questions and then spend a lot of time letting you work on this material so that you will be very well prepared for your test in Week 7.
