Week 8

We finished off talking about Maclaurin Series and spoke about more general Taylor Series near an x not necessarily zero. Then we started the section on the numerical solution of differential equations that we need for the second assignment.

Week 9

We will do a revision of partial differentiation — which we will use to find Taylor Series of several variables. We will also apply this to error analysis.

Catch-Up Class

At the moment we are down 2.5 hours due to a number of missed classes. We will make one hour upon Tuesday 22 November at 16:00 in B180.
