Assignment 2

Assignment 2 based on Chapter 2 is on Canvas now: Canvas —> MATH7019 —> Assignments. It is now due on the Monday of Week 10, 28 November.

Week 10

We finished our look at sampling and then looked at hypothesis testing.

We had our tutorial on Tuesday. Many students continued working on Chapter 2, but some started looking at the normal distribution.

Week 11

We will finish our look at at hypothesis testing. Then we will drive into Chapter 4. The second part of Chapter 4 is second year material.

Our tutorial will be focused on Chapter 3.

Week 12

We will do our best to finish Chapter 4 early in the week so that we can have some revision.

The tutorial will probably also be focused on Chapter 3.

Academic Learning Centre

I would urge anyone having any problems with material that isn’t being addressed in the tutorial communication to use the Academic Learning Centre. If you are a little worried about your maths this semester you need to be aware of this resource. You will get best results if you come to the helpers there with specific questions.
